Samsung Galaxy A20 is a nice looking budget smartphone with a good build quality. Galaxy A20 also presents the buyers with a few features that mostly found in the mid-range smartphones. For instance, the phone features an ample 6.4-inch Super Amoled screen, USB Type-C port, Face Recognition and 4000mAh battery capacity.

Galaxy A20 Design:
Despite its affordable price, Samsung Galaxy A20 looks like a premium phone, and this is as a result of its sleek design, well-built frame and implementation of the polycarbonate (glass-like material) for its back cover.

The 6.4-inch AMOLED screen of the Galaxy A20 is surrounded by thin bezels, though, the phone still has a slighly thick bottom bezel (Chin) and it also features waterdrop screen-notch.
The notched-display of the Galaxy A20 is referred to as the Infinity-V display, by the Samsung. And, you'll find the phone's 8-MP front camera inside the screen-notch.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A20 comes with a pair of vertically arranged back camera, and the phone's LED flash is also found directly below the dual-camera, immediately outside the camera module.
Galaxy A20 also features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, which is placed at the top centre of the phone. And directly below the fingerprint scanner is the SAMSUNG branding.

You find the phone's volume rockers and power button on the left edge, while the 3.5mm Audio jack, USB-C port, microphone and speaker are found on the bottom edge of the Galaxy A20. Apart from the SIM Card (+microSD) slot, there is nothing else on the right edge of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A20 weigh 169g and has a thickness of 7.8mm. It also comes in different design colours of Red, Blue, Black and Gold. The current market price of the Galaxy A20 is around Rs 11,000 (India) and 51,000 Naira (NG).

Performance:
Samsuy Galaxy A20 is fitted with the Samsung's own Exynos 7884 Octa-core processor, which has a maximum clock speed of 1.6GHz. And the chipset also makes use of Mali-G71 MP2, for its Graphics Processing Units (GPU).
Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy A20 is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space; which can be expanded through microSD card of up to 512GB.

Concerning its software, Samsung Galaxy A20 features Android 9 Pie O.S. (Operating System) along with the Samsung One UI. One of the features of the custom software is the Night Mode; which changes the normal UI (User Interface) of your phone to an attractive dark colour, which is useful, especially while using your phone at night, because it reduces eye strain.

Display and Cameras:
Compare to the IPS-LCD panel that often found on the phones within this price range, the Super Amoled panel of the Galaxy A20 guarantees a more vibrant and realistic colours. But the 6.4-inch Amoled screen features an HD+ resolution of 1520x720 (268ppi); which is normal for the phone in this segment.

Meanwhile, the 8-MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera of the Galaxy A20 features Live Focus; which lets you blur the background of your selfies (Bokeh effects). The selfie camera also features Samsung's Face Recognition, which is another form of security enhancements, besides the phone's fingerprint reader.

On the other hand, the dual back camera of the Galaxy A20 is made up of 13-MP Main lens and 5-MP Ultra-Wide-Angle lens. While the Main lens is for taking Portrait shorts, the Ultra-Wide-Angle lens is for taking wider pictures of what is in front of you, without moving backwards. And the lens has ability to capture 123 degree FoV (Field of View)

Samsung Galaxy A20 is fitted with a non-removable 4000mAh battery. Under normal usage, this battery will last for more than a day on a single charging, especially when the phone also features amoled screen which is easier on the battery life, compare to the IPS-LCD. The phone's USB-C Charger also supports 15W Fast Charging; which enables Samsung Galaxy A20 to be fully charged after one and half-hour.
