If you're in the market for an affordable phone with trendy features and premium design, you might want to consider Spark 3 (KB7) or Hot 7 (X624). Spark 3 (KB7) and Hot 7 (X624) are the base variant of the recently released Infinix Hot 7 and Tecno Spark 3.

Because these phones are cheaper, unlike their high-end variants, therefore they feature few basic specs such as 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and Single lens back camera, both phones also lack 4G (LTE).

Apart from those mentioned specs, however, Hot 7 (X624) and Spark 3 (KB7) share design and other cool features with their high-end variants.
In other words, besides those basic specs (mentioned above), both phones come in the same packages, and with other features, that accompanied the higher variants of the 2 models.

l.e. both phones come with the latest design, premium looks and trendy features such as bigger notched Display, 19:9 screen aspect ratio, high-megapixel (but single) back camera and front camera that guarantees high quality selfie pictures.
Others are fingerprint sensor, intelligent Face unlock and better battery capacity.

Note: The current price of the Tecno Spark 3 (KB7) is 27,850 Naira and that of the Infinix Hot 7 (X624) is 28,500 Naira.
The 2GB RAM variants of these phones feature Dual-lens (13MP+2MP) back camera and better MediaTek processor (especially in Spark 3). The current price of the Spark 3 2GB variant (KB7J) is 32,500 Naira, while the price of the 2GB variant of the Hot 7 (X624B) is 32,500 Naira.

Meanwhile, with almost the same price, the Tecno Spark 3 (KB7) and the Infinix Hot 7 (X624) also share almost the same specs, therefore, below are the details of the similarities and small differences (battery capacity) between the two phones.

Both feature the same MediaTek MT6580 processor:
Although their 2GB RAM version, especially that of the Spark 3 has better processing power, both the Hot 7 (X624) and Spark 3 (KB7) feature the same slightly less powerful MT6580 MediaTek Quad-Core chipset, with 1.3GHz processing speed and Mali-400 GPU.

Same 6.2" FullView HD+ Display with 19:9 aspect ratio:
Both Hot 7 and Spark 3 displays are identical in every aspect, i.e. each of the phones features the same 6.2-inch screen size. And both displays also have the same 1500x720 screen resolution, which also means that each of the phones' 6.2-inch display has a pixel density of 268ppi.

Furthermore, both phones also feature the popular notch at the top of their screens, and as usual, the notch houses the single lens front camera, speaker grille and LED flash.

The Infinix Hot 7 and Spark 3 also feature 19:9 screen aspect ratio. 19:9 is the trendy aspect ratio that comes with the recent mid-range and flagship phones.

Same RAM, internal storage and Android 8.1 Go Edition:
Like mentioned earlier, the Hot 7 (X624) and Spark 3 (KB7) come with 1GB RAM with 16GB internal storage, and the internal storage capacity can be expanded, through MicroSD Card, up to 128GB.

Meanwhile, these 1GB RAM phones are preloaded with the Android Go Edition, which is the lighter version of the Android 8.1 Oreo or Android 9 Pie (that come with other variants), to ensure their smooth running.

Both feature Single lens 13MP Back Camera:
Except their 2GB RAM variants, which feature an extra 2MP telephoto rear lens, the 1GB RAM version of Hot 7 and Spark 3 comes with a Single Back Camera of 13MP.
And for Selfie pictures, each of  the phones is fitted with 8MP front facing camera. It should be noted that the same 8MP Selfie camera is found across all the variants of the Spark 3 and  Hot 7 models.

Fingerprint Sensors are located at the Same spot:
Like their earlier models, both Hot 7 and Spark 3 feature rear-mounted Fingerprint reader, and this biometric security sensor is located at the similar spot on the back of the two phones, i.e. at the centre of the back, close to the top, in fact, very close to the back cameras.

In addition to the fingerprint reader, both phones also feature lntelligence Face Unlock; for their security enhancements too.

Hot 7 has better battery life: Although, both phones have the same screen size, RAM and processing power, Hot 7 (X624) has more battery capacity than Spark 3 (KB7); while the Spark features 3,500mAh battery, Infinix equipped the Hot 7 with a better battery capacity of 4,000mAh. Therefore, when it comes to normal usage, the Hot 7 battery will last a little longer than that of Spark 3.
