Tecno Pouvoir 2, Same Power, Better Features.

Tecno Pouvoir 2 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Tecno Mobile, it is the second to previous budget phone; Pouvoir. Alternatively, if you want a phone with roughly the same price and  identical specs with slightly less battery power (4000mah precisely), but, with Dual Rear Camera and Snapdragon chipset (to compensate for the less battery power), you should check out Infinix hot 6 Pro 

Meanwhile, the word "Pouvoir" is  French  which can be translated to Authority or Power in English. But I would prefer the word Power, because, among many phones (even flagship ones) in the market, both Pouvoir phones (Pouvoir 2 and Pouvoir 1) have unusual and unrival 5000mAh battery capacity.
In other words, the brand maintains the same 5000mAh battery and 16GB Internal storage of last year's Pouvoir 1 in the new Pouvoir 2 also.

But in other areas, Pouvoir 2 is ahead of Pouvoir 1 with improved and up-to-date features such as  2GB RAM (3GB RAM in Pouvoir2 Pro), LTE (4G Network), Face Unlock, Fingerprint reader, and 6.0" Display; with  slimmer bezels and recent 18:9 screen aspect ratio that didn't give away the big 6.0 inches HD+ Display of Pouvoir 2, Pouvoir 1 owners will green with envy at the sight of overall facial design of the new phone.

Nonetheless, with this larger screen and up to the task battery, one would have expected Tecno to equip the screen with Full HD+ (1080p) pixels, which can readily be found among phones with such screen size in the market. Though on the second thought, such necessity might attract more price to the phone.
The phone also features cameras with higher MP. While its  predecessor has 5MP front Camera and 8MP back camera,  Pouvoir 2 Front and Back cameras are now 8MP (13MP in Pouvoir 2 Pro front) and 13MP respectively. There is an additional feature to the front camera which is its ability to take Selfie pictures with Bokeh effect, i.e. the one that allows you to blur the background of a picture in order for the subject to become more focused.

Pouvoir 2 Variants and Price
Note: Tecno released 2 variant of Pouvoir 2, first, the Pouvoir2 (LA7) and the second is Pouvoir 2 Pro (LA7 Pro). The duo shares similar specs but they have few differences; while Pouvour 2 has 2GB of RAM, Pouvoir 2 Pro comes with 3GB of RAM. Also Pouvoir 2 has regular plastic body with 8.5 mm thickness, on the other hand, Pouvoir 2 Pro has slimmer metallic body with 8.2 mm thickness.

The starting price of Pouvoir 2 in the market is around 42,500 naira. On the other hand, the price of Pouvoir 2 Pro is around 45,500 naira.
