Microsoft Replaces MSN With Microsoft News app

MSN, the popular news app and news aggregator of Microsoft has been rebranded Microsoft News. And unlike MSN, the rebranded Microsoft News sounds more familiar like other popular news apps such News Apple and Google News which directly showcase the names of their companies. The app is already launched for iOS and Android, this also indicates that for Android and iOS phones, MSN App wont be available again.
However, the MSN website is still available, but it'll be powered by Microsoft News. This is because Microsoft News will now be serving as the company's news engine. Therefore, Microsoft News will also powers news section of Microsoft Edge browser, Window 10 news app, Skype, Xbox and Outlook.com.

What distinguished Microsoft News from others:
The redesigned Microsoft News makes use of Microsoft Artificial Intelligence (AI) System to examines over 100,000 news stories from various sources and locations of the world. The AI then proceeds to select potential news topics, based on overall popularity and freshness of the news stories. These selected news topics are then filtered, perfected and presented to readers by Microsoft human editors, which are now located in various countries.
Apart from that, the rebranded app can be personalized and configured to show you latest news inline with your interest and also based on your current geographical location. Furthermore, according to your interests, the news app also gives you opportunity to configure notifications on breaking news.

Apart from new looks, upgraded features, refreshing and user friendly GUI, Microsoft News also comes with Dark theme mode, which makes nighttime reading easier and also brings comfort to the eyes.
