Furthermore, this year's display also supports DCI P3 wide colour gamut. However, the newly introduced feature for this year's model, unlike before, is True Tone Display, which was first introduced in iPad Pro in 2016, which can also now found in iPhone 8 and iPhone X. True Tone Display makes use of light sensors to measure the ambient light of your surroundings and automatically adjust the white-balance (white point) of the MacBook display to be in tune with the ambient light of the your environments, in other words, True Tone automatically adjust the MacBook Display's white point to be in tune with/reflect the colour temperature of the room. This is quite useful for those who stare at the laptop screen for long time, because True Tone Display can now reduce the eye strain that come with such long usage.

Processing Power: According to the Apple, the 2018 MacBook Pro is 70% faster than its predecessor, this statements is due to the two obvious reasons;
First, the Use of latest 8th-Gen. Coffee Lake Processors; While its predecessor came with Intel Kaby Lake 7th-Generation processors, the highest of which is Quad-Core Core-i7, the latest MacBook Pro features faster Intel Coffee Lake  8th-Generation processors, and this year MacBook Pro 15 starts with Core-i7, instead of usual Quad-Core, this latest Core-i7 has 6-Cores with 2.2GHz clock speed that, with Turbo Boost, can run up to 4.1GHz. While the high-end of the 2018 MacBook pro features 2.9GHz 6-Core Core-i9 processor that can run up to 4.8GHz of clock speed also with Turbo Boost.

Second, The expansion of RAM to 32GB: The maximum amount of RAM that previous models of the 15-inch MacBook Pro have always supported is 16GB. Though 16GB is enough for majority of the laptops' users, but some users, who needs higher RAM for the optimum running of certain applications or task on their laptops, wish they could have more of the RAM.Therefore, instead of using LPDDR3 RAM, the new 15-inch MacBook Pro make use of DDR4 SDRAM, which now makes it possible for the laptop to have option of 32GB of RAM.
