Though Infinix Note 10 (X693) features a 6.95-inch Infinity-O display like the Infinix Note 8 (X692), yet, the front of the phone is more attractive than that of the earlier model. And it is because the camera cut-out on the Note 10's display is placed at the top centre, instead of the upper left corner.

Nonetheless, besides having the same screen size as the Note 8, Infinix Note 10 also retain the design, the aspect ratio and other visible attributes of the earlier phone. In other words, Infinix Note 10 has an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, and its power button also doubles as fingerprint reader because it lacks rear-mounted fingerprint reader. This phone also features USB-C port and support 18W fast charging like the earlier phone.
The back of the Infinix Note 10 also looks like that of the Note 8, though, the camera bump has been slightly modified, and the back cover is also adorned with different design pattern.

Also like the earlier phone, Infinix Note 10 is fitted with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Unlike the earlier phone, however, Infinix Note 10 is available in 4GB of RAM option. And it is paired with either 64GB or 128GB storage.

Apart from its better looks and lower RAM (and storage) option, the latest phone also offers some improved and up to date features, though there are few downgrades too. For instance, compared to the 720p resolution of the earlier phone's display, the 6.95-inch screen of the Note 10 features a Full-HD+ or 1080p resolution. The phone is also fitted with a slightly better Helio G85 processor and it runs on the recent Android 11 OS with the latest Infinix XOS custom UI on top.

But, as i said earlier, Infinix Note 10 has a few downgrades. While the earlier phone was fitted with a dual-lens front camera, Infinix Note 10 features a single-lens front camera. Still, the single lens front camera of the phone has a 16-megapixel sensor, like the primary front camera of the Note 8.
Also, instead of having a 64-megapixel Quad-back camera like the earlier model, the back of the Infinix Note 10 is mounted with a 48-megapixel Triple-lens camera. Yet, the pictures taken with the Note 10 back cameras are of the same quality with the ones taken with the Note 8 back cameras.

And despite featuring a USB Type-C port and 18W fast charging like its predecessor, Infinix Note 10 has a 5,000mAh battery; which is slightly lower than the 5,200mAh battery of the earlier phone.

However, and like the two earlier models, the Stylus pen or Infinix X-Pen (including its slot) is missing on the Note 10. It should be emphasized that the X-Pen, which was last seen on the Infinix Note 6, is the essence of the Infinix Note phones, yet, it continues to be missing on the successive Note phones.

Price And Colours:
Infinix Note 10 comes in Black, Purple and Emerald Green colours. And currently, the starting price of the phone is 90,000 Naira; which is for the model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage attract an higher price of 110,000 Naira. While the standard model i.e., the one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, attract the highest price of 120,000 Naira.

Note 10 Display Has A Full-HD+ Resolution:
As both of them feature the same screen size and aspect ratio, therefore, the main thing that differentiates the Infinity-O display of the Note 10 from that of the Note 8 is the position of its front camera cut-out. In other words, while the camera cut-out on the Note 8 display is placed at the upper left corner, that of the Note 10 is found at the top-centre of the screen. It is the slight modification that caused the front of the Note 10 to look more prettier than that of the Note 8.

In addition to that, the 6.95-inch screen of the Note 10 also features a 1080p or Full-HD+ resolution. This is a welcome development from the Infinix, because the displays of the two successive Note phones after Infinix Note 6 i.e., Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 8, feature 720p resolutions, despite their large size.

By the way, the Full-HD+ resolution of the Note 10 display is made up of 1080 by 2460 pixels. Which also means that the display has a pixel density of 287ppi. Therefore, and despite that it's of the same size with that of the Note 8, Infinix Note 10 screen is sharper and has a more vivid picture.

The Back Of The Phone Looks Like That Of The Note 8:
While the front of the Note 10 appears slightly different (due to the front camera repositioning), the back of the phone looks like that of the Note 8. Though, the back camera bump has been slightly modified, still, it looks like that of the Note 8. The back cover of the phone also has a glossy finish like that of the earlier model. And the Infinix branding is also placed in a position that's similar to that of the Note 8.

Other visible attributes of the Note 10 also remain as those of the earlier phone. Therefore, you have the volume keys and power button (which also doubles as fingerprint reader) on the right edge of the phone, while the dual Nano SIM card slot (and tray) is located on the left edge. On the bottom edge of the phone is the USB-C port, speaker, 3.5mm audio jack and microphone. Also like that of the earlier phone, there is nothing on the top edge of the Infinix Note 10.

Lower Back Camera, Yet Similar Picture Quality:
Although, the 48-megapixel triple back camera of the Note 10 is less than the 64-megapixel quad back camera of the Note 8, surprisingly, the pictures taken with the Note 10 back cameras look almost the same (if not better) with the ones taken with the Note 8 back cameras. May be, this has to do with camera software of the Note 10, which, i assume, is better than that of the earlier phone.
The other two cameras, on the back of the Note 10, are made up of a 2-megapixel Macro sensor (for taking detailed pictures of close-up objects) and a 2-megapixel QVGA or AI sensor; which assists in taking brighter pictures in low lights environments.

On the other hand, though the single front camera of the Note 10 is fitted with a 16-megapixel sensor, like the primary front camera of the Note 8, yet, the picture quality of the shots taken with front camera of the Note 10 is not that impressive, when you compared them to the ones taken with the dual front camera of the Note 8.
Meanwhile, just like those of its predecessor, both the front and back cameras of the Note 10 are capable shooting 2K videos at 30fps (frame per second) and slow motion videos at 240fps.

Almost The Same Processing Power:
Infinix Note 10 is fitted with the MediaTek Helio G85 CPU. But this is almost the same with the Helio G80 that's inside Infinix Note 8. Because both of them are 12nm octa-core processors and they also features the same 6x Cortex-A55 Arm and 2x Cortex-A75 Arm. The duo also has the same maximum processing speed of 2.0GHz.

In short, the main advantage of the Helio G85 (over Helio G80) is its slightly faster gpu clock speed. In other words, and despite that both phones are fitted with the same Mali-G52 MC2 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), the maximum gpu clock speed of the Helio G85 is 1000Mhz while that of the Helio G80 is 950Mhz. Therefore, you should expect better graphics performance from the Infinix Note 10.
And despite that the latest phone has the same stereo speakers and DTS sound engine as the Note 8, the audio output of the Infinix Note 10 is slightly better than that of the Note 8.

Latest Software And Lower RAM And Storage Options:
This phone is preloaded with the recent Android 11 OS (Operating System). And running on top of the Android OS is the latest Infinix XOS 7.6 custom UI. Yet, despite its latest software and slightly better processor, Infinix Note 10 maintain the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage of the Note 8. Still, unlike the earlier phone, Infinix Note 10 is available in another RAM and storage options of either 4GB/64GB or 4GB/128GB. And because the phone supports MicroSD card, the internal storage can still be expanded, up to 256GB.

Same USB-C Port, 18W fast charging, But slightly lower Battery Capacity:
Though, the 5,000mAh battery that powered Infinix Note 10 is a little lower than the 5,200mAh battery that came with the Note 8. Yet, Infinix Note 10 retain the USB-C port and 18W fast charging of the earlier model.
And with the phone's 18W fast charger, it'll take you a little above two hours to fully charge Note 10 battery when it drops to one per cent.
